For organizations and teams

Better project management. More engaged teams.

Project Rocket is built to run real work. Motivation and recognition are built on that work, not instead of it.

  • Organize work

Projects, goals, assignments, owners, and priorities in one place, so everyone knows what to do and who is responsible.

  • Make progress visible

Progress, achievements, and what is still pending are clear at a glance, with no chasing for updates.

  • Motivate through recognition

Validated contributions add progression, XP, Medals, and rewards, and get celebrated.

  • Encourage growth

Personal and professional challenges give every member reasons to keep learning.

The Project Rocket universe

A new universe for the way your team works.

Project Rocket uses a space metaphor to name what you already know from project management. If you understand your organization, you already understand Project Rocket.

From the organization to the task

  1. Galaxymeans Your organization or company

  2. Shipmeans A project

  3. Missionmeans An epic, phase, or major goal within the project

  4. Assignmentmeans A specific task

A Galaxy has Ships, each Ship has Missions, and each Mission brings together Assignments.

The people

  • Crew membermeans A team member

  • Pilotmeans A project lead

  • Flight Directormeans The Galaxy administrator

Why gamification

The next generation of teams deserves a new way to work.

Many people grew up with video games that organize effort into missions, goals, levels, and rewards. It is a language that needs no explanation: you know where you are, what comes next, and what you achieved.

Project Rocket brings those familiar dynamics to real project management. It does not turn work into a shallow game: it makes progress visible, recognizes achievements, and gives people extra reasons to get involved and grow.

Project Rocket is not about playing while you work. It is about managing work better with motivation, progress, and recognition mechanisms inspired by video games.

How gamification works

Real work. Visible progress. Meaningful recognition.

Gamification is part of the work flow: it kicks in when work is completed and validated. It is not a decorative layer.

  1. Complete assignments and challenges

Members work on real tasks and goals in their projects.

  2. Earn XP and Credits

Validated contributions pay XP (permanent) and Credits (spendable) according to difficulty.

  3. Level up and earn Medals

Progress shows in levels and in Medals that recognize specific contributions.

  4. Unlock digital rewards

Use your Credits to unlock digital rewards, such as avatar cosmetics.

Illustration with fictional data.

  • Only validated work countsNobody approves their own reward: an independent person validates it.
  • Each piece of work pays onceNo duplicates, and no pending rewards shown as earned.
  • It recognizes, it doesn't monitorMedals and history celebrate contributions; they are not a performance review.

Today, rewards are digital. In the future, each organization could extend recognition to its own initiatives; that is not available yet.

Quests

Growth doesn't stop at the task list.

Beyond their assignments, members can take on challenges of their own. The right person approves them, and they add to the member's progression.

Professional Quests

Development tied to career and skills.

Illustrative examples

  • Complete a certification
  • Learn a new skill
  • Reach a professional development goal

Personal Quests

Goals that belong to each member.

Illustrative examples

  • Complete a reading challenge
  • Build a habit
  • Reach a personal goal

These are examples to explain the idea, not a preset catalog: every Quest is proposed by a person.

  • Approved with clear rules

A Pilot or Director approves the proposal and sets its criteria and reward.

  • They add to progression

Once validated, they bring XP, Credits, and a Medal when one is attached.

  • Personal stays personal

Who is working on a personal Quest is not visible to the whole organization.

An organization that recognizes the results of the work and also the development of its professionals.

Real project management
